What are you doing?!

I honestly couldn't count how many times a day I say "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!", maybe because I need all my counting fingers to keep my children from killing each other, breaking something or catching the house on fire.
I've learned that if I think it's impossible, they like to test that theory.

I started putting up little Christmas decorations here and there because I absolutely can not wait til after Thanks Giving and one of those things happened to be Gel Clings that you put up on windows. I walk into the living room and notice one of Santa's little gel shoes is missing.
Seriously?! YOU CAN'T EAT THAT!
Sure enough, I held out my hand and Emily spit it out along with a piece of string and a button from Ethan's Shirt.

I've realized since the house has been so chaotic raising two 2 year olds that I've hardly had time to blog or even pick up my camera. Let's face it, I've been putting baby powder in my hair so that you can't tell its been two days since I've last washed my hair.

(This would be her pulling my hair out.)
USUALLY when Emily wakes up before I do, she comes and jumps into my bed. Well, one morning she comes jumping into my bed COVERED in pink frosting and then runs out. I quickly follow her only to discover she had gotten the cake cover off and was eating my left over birthday cake.
Oh yea, I had a birthday!
(She fell asleep like this.)

Maybe I won't be so late posting Christmas pictures this year like I am about Halloween pictures.
I can't make any promises, but chances are it will be 2014.
The point is, it will get done.

  1. I love when you post!

And "seriously you can't eat that!" is what I say all the time
but I'm convinced they can and will eat everything.
I did the same and put out some christmas lights thinking
you know he wouldn't be able to eat christmas lights well...
let's just say I was wrong,
